Norchem Corporation develops, manufactures, and implements wash aisle chemical technologies for the textile care industry. We are seeking an individual with a technical aptitude who has a passion for customer service, account management, and troubleshooting skills. This individual will serve our growing customer base in specified regions. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Perform monthly service calls, product ordering, and technical problem-solving tasks
  • Program wash formulas and titrate wash chemistry
  • Conduct quality and production audits with customer staff
  • Perform chemical delivery system startups and conduct training of customer personnel
  • Manage on-site installation, repairs, and preventive maintenance of automated chemical delivery systems 
  • Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction by being thorough in your service visits and delivering consistent quality results from our solutions
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports and expense reports
  • Work with engineering team and share information across the organization
  • Act as the point of contact for all assigned customer's in a respective territory
  • Create Leads and build relationships with prospects to identify sales opportunities through customer network
  • Complete a training program that includes job shadowing, structured field activities, and classroom style training
  • Travel to existing and prospective accounts within territory scope
  • On-call coverage will include occasional weekends, holidays and night shifts

Prerequisite Skills: 

  • Commercial laundry equipment and chemical dispensing pumps expertise preferred
  • Understand regulatory and plumbing requirements in the areas that affect our laundry program
  • Proficient in laptop and tablet technology to include but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to prioritize complex, diversified responsibilities, multi-task effectively and execute tasks with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to remain focused and productive with tasks that may be repetitive
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Takes ownership of issues or questions, will recognize when to address the appropriate supervisors, and promptly follow up accordingly to the customer.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality by handling sensitive and private customer information
  • Embraces change and is flexible to the needs of the business and team
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and key metrics, work independently, as a team player, and drive results in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
  • Must be willing to assist teammates and build strong relationships to achieve company and department goals
  • Must have a valid driver's license


  • Proven customer service history: 3-year minimum in sales and technical service of commercial production facilities preferred
  • Associates degree or similar in Technical and/or Mechanical, electromechanical with machine repair experience preferred
  • Military background a plus
