Norchem Corporation specializes in the development, manufacturing, and implementation of automated chemical & water technologies for the commercial & industrial textile services market. We are seeking a talented director of marketing with extensive experience in digital content marketing, creative design, and brand management  

Essential Responsibilities

  • Helps manage the company's creative process from concept to completion as it relates to branding, content, design, public relations, and web/app development.
  • Contribute to the overall creative tactics, strategy, and vision for the company
  • Design digital and print marketing collateral such as product sheets, web pages, and pitch presentations
  • Maintains promotional materials and inventory
  • Create email and web marketing campaigns, including updating the promotional calendar, segmenting the client files, and targeting offers appropriately  
  • Compile tracking, analysis, and reporting of the impact of promotional campaigns for digital marketing efforts
  • Prioritize projects and develop roadmaps for execution of content strategy recommendations   
  • Conduct research on emerging markets, customers, and competitors to provide insight into customer profiles, competitive tactics, and to generate creative and innovative campaign ideas  
  • Builds and manages the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.   
  • Select & Liaison with external marketing vendors such as web developers and brand agencies to build and design brand elements from the ground up 
  • Maintain a basic understanding of KPIs and conversion rate optimization tactics to effectively analyze sales and marketing data to provide actionable recommendations.  
  • Work with leadership, industry experts, customers and event partners to help develop and distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.  
  • Participate in new business development efforts, partnering with the discipline leads to create the winning strategy
  • Collaborates with accounting department to manage budget, scope, and resources across multiple projects and clients

Prerequisite Skills

  • Expert in contemporary digital engagement programs, from interactive design to brand campaigns
  • Associative Thinker
  • Expert proficiency in graphic design preferred 
  • An intimate understanding of design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
  • Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Google Adwords.
  • Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Comprehension of SEO optimization 
  • Strong emotional intelligence  
  • Proficiency in Marketing Automation software (Examples: constant contact, HubSpot, MailChimp)   
  • Creative problem solver who can prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Expert in digital communication and social media strategy with a demonstrated track record  
  • Superb presentation skills that inspire prospective clients and grow existing relationships
  • Ability to solve problems with keen instincts and organizational experience
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable
  • Humble in victory, constructive in defeat
  • Willing to fight for good ideas, but always a team player

Prerequisite Experience  

  • Undergraduate degree in Creative Design, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field from an accredited University  
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant B2B market experience including website administration, brand management, content marketing, and social media  
  • Minimum 2-year SEO experience and minor coding experience a plus  
  • Minimum 2-year experience managing relationships with outsourced service providers such as design agencies and digital service providers  
  • Experience with cloud-based project management and proofing systems
